Perfect Dark is a new file sharing program in Japan and possibly the successor to Share and Winny.

1) Download Perfect Dark version 0.992
Starting with version 0.992 Perfect Dark uses an English interface.

http://www.divshare.com/download/3438184-093

2.1) Start "perfect dark.exe"

3) Configuration

Create a nickname

4) Go to http://www.hayasoft.com/syumi/dark/ and copy the nodes. It should look like this

5) Navigation

IMPORTANT:
"perfect dark is offline" indicates that it's offline.
"perfect dark is online" in BLUE LETTERS: normal mode.
"perfect dark is online" in RED LETTERS indicates that it can't open the port.
*Try Port: 25975 if you have port problems.

6) Adding Files

7) Rating Files

In order to rate a file and to give it a postive or negative feedback, click on the ?? tab. Right-click a file and choose
(G) for high-quality
(N) for average
(B) for fake/mislabeled/virus-infected
Everyone's feedback translates into a positive or negative integer in the ?? column on the search and download tabs.

You can run Perfect Dark without 20 GB but the longer you use it, the bigger becomes the cache folder.

1) Minimum is still 20 GB but as long as you delete your cache folder regularly you can run it below 20 GB.
2) Red status means it got port problems.

Why is that? because of the 20gig cache? its like it takes it all cache builds up over time.
And like sliver siad. if you delete it once in a while it wont take up space.

well I had to make a static IP so I could directly tell my router to open that particular port~ otherwise it didnt work. So might try that :)

To open the port for download programs, first make sure what the port is and then go to your router's site. On the router's site you add the port and BAM, you can download at ease. I had to do that with alot of programs because ROUTERS ARE THE BIGGEST PAIN EVER!

yes thats what i thought of doing but since my ip changes so much even in my own home it would be pointless settting the port open for the pacific ip.
To many computers leaching on that router

I don't have a static IP and I inserted the port. I did that and never had to do it again.

I can't tell you where the router's homepage is since every company's router has different homepage for it. it's not even a internet site, it's like YOUR router's site or something. So everything there is only related to settings of your router. I asked my friends help when inserting ports. They knew alot.

If I could access the page then I would probably read down the ports I've added but I forgot the road. I think I had to take my IP and put it to my firefox or something but I forgot how. But I've some random ports too like the ones that might be a bit wrong for something or the ones for games. Not too many ports probably. Around 10 or less.

You can decide that on your own (I think) just go to options and change the port or so~
